Data is your best ally for making good decisions. But you also have to know which ones to look at.
KPI 1: Revenue per hour of operation. Identify profitable and unprofitable time slots.
KPI 2: Average basket. Track it week after week. If it drops, it’s a warning sign.
KPI 3: Acceptance rate. Aim for 95%+. Below 90%, your visibility suffers.
KPI 4: Average preparation time. Compare it to your estimate. The difference should be less than 3 minutes.
KPI 5: Average score. Track it daily. A decrease of 0.1 points warrants immediate investigation.
KPI 6: Cancellation rate. Aim for less than 2%. Above that, identify the causes and correct them.
KPI 7: The number of orders per day. Identify trends (increase, decrease, seasonality).
KPI 8: The return rate. If more than 3% of your orders are refunded, there is a problem.
KPI 9: Best-selling vs. most profitable items. They are not always the same.
KPI 10: Customer acquisition cost. How much do you spend on promotions to acquire a new customer?
