Lunch (11:30 AM - 2:00 PM) accounts for 35% of the day’s orders, with a peak between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. It’s the most competitive but also the busiest time slot.
Dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) represents 45% of orders. The peak is at 7:30 PM. Average baskets are generally 15% higher than at lunchtime.
Late-night (11:30 PM - midnight) is an underutilized time slot. Less competition, customers less concerned about prices. Ideal if your kitchen allows it.
Weekend: orders increase by 30% on Saturday and 20% on Sunday. Add staff for these days.
Our advice: start by focusing on the most profitable niches, then gradually expand. It’s better to be excellent on two niches than mediocre across the board.
