Opening hours on platforms directly impact your revenue and algorithmic ranking. Regular and well-calibrated hours are essential.
Most profitable delivery slots: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM (lunch), 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM (dinner). Outside of these windows, the volume is low except for exceptions (brunch on Sunday, nighttime delivery).
Consistency is key: opening and closing at the same hours each day improves your algorithmic score. Platforms penalize restaurants with irregular hours.
Test the time slots: 10am-11:30am (breakfast), 2pm-5pm (afternoon snack/snacking), 9:30pm-11pm (late night). If a slot generates at least 5 orders per hour, it is profitable.
Close during slow hours instead of staying open for 1-2 orders. Electricity, staff, and stress are not worth those few euros. Focus your efforts on peak times.
Holiday and special events deserve adapted schedules: opening earlier, closing later. Plan these adjustments in advance in the platform schedules.
