Preparing for parties: survival guide for delivery

End-of-year celebrations represent a 30-40% increase in orders for most delivery restaurants. Preparation is key.

30 days before: Plan your special party menu. Premium dishes, group packages, seasonal desserts. Start listing them to create anticipation.

15 days to go: Order your extra packaging supplies. Anticipate 50% more than usual. Suppliers are often out of stock during the last week.

7 days prior: Strengthen your team. Hire extras or reorganize schedules to cover peak periods (December 24-25, December 31 - January 1).

Day J: Simplify your standard menu and highlight special offers. Reduce the number of items available to speed up preparation.

Prices: clients accept higher prices during holidays. A 10 to 15% increase is generally accepted without impacting orders.

After the holidays: analyze your performance. Which dishes performed best? Which time slots were the most intense? Keep this data for next year.
