Nutri-Score on the menu: soon mandatory?

This is a marketing argument for healthy concepts (Poke, Salads). Displaying an “A” provides reassurance.

For fast food, it’s a risk (often D or E). The strategy is to display the calories (mandatory in the USA, soon in Europe?).

Calculating the Nutri-Score of a complex recipe is difficult (loss of water during cooking, oil absorption). Specialized software exists.

Anticipate: Get used to calculating the nutritional values of your dishes. Transparency is a strong expectation of consumers.
