Personal hygiene: beard, jewelry, nail polish... the rules

The coiff (charlotte or calot) is mandatory in the kitchen to cover ALL hair.

Beard: Must be clean and trimmed. A beard cover (snood) is recommended but rarely worn (except in industry).

Jewelry: Prohibited (rings, watches, bracelets) due to bacterial nests and physical risk (foreign bodies). Only a smooth wedding band is tolerated.

Nail polish and false nails: prohibited in the kitchen (risk of scale in the plate).

Handwashing: Every hour, and after every contamination (toilet, trash can, cigarette, phone).
