A virtual brand (or ghost brand) allows you to multiply your presence on platforms without opening a new location.
The concept: from your existing kitchen, you create a second restaurant on platforms with a different name, menu, and positioning.
Your Italian restaurant launches a gourmet burger brand. Memes ingredients (meat, bread, cheese), different preparation, distinct identity.
Advantages: no local investment, optimal use of your kitchen during off-peak hours, reaching a new clientele.
Your kitchen must be able to handle the extra load. Don’t launch a virtual brand unless you already master your main activity.
Regulation: each brand must have its own SIRET number and respect hygiene standards. Contact your Chamber of Commerce for more information.
Our advice: start small. An 8-10 item menu is sufficient. Test for 3 months before investing in marketing for your new brand.
