Convention HCR : working hours, rest periods, overtime hours

Work duration: 35h or 39h? The standard duration is often 39h (with 4 extra hours). The absolute maximum is 48h/week.

Rest period: 2 days, not necessarily consecutive. The employer can give 1.5 days or 1 day + 0.5 day + postponement.

Cuts: One cut per day is permitted (e.g., 2 PM - 6 PM). The cut cannot last more than X hours without compensation.

Night work: Any work between 10 PM and 7 AM is considered night work. It is entitled to compensation (rest or overtime according to agreements).

Public holidays: Only May 1st is mandatory paid time off (unless working, then paid double). Other worked holidays give entitlement to carry-over or payment after 1 year of service.
