Social networks are a free acquisition channel that few restaurateurs properly exploit. A viral post can generate 50 to 100 orders in a single day.

Instagram is ideal for restaurants. Post 3-4 times per week: photos of dishes, behind-the-scenes from the kitchen, new menu items. Daily Stories maintain engagement.

TikTok is the new lever. Short videos (15-30 seconds) of food preparation are working extremely well. Show the assembly of a burger, the cutting of sashimi, the pizza coming out of the oven.

“Behind the scenes” content humanizes your restaurant. Show your team, your preparation process, your fresh product deliveries. Customers like to know where their food comes from.

Use local hashtags: #ParisFood, #LyonFoodie, #MarseilleFood. These hashtags target your local audience, those who can actually order from you.

Encourage your customers to share their orders by adding a card to the bag: “Share your meal on Instagram with #YourRestaurant and receive -10% on your next order.”
