Platform commission rates are not set in stone. If you generate a significant volume of orders, you have a bargaining lever.
Prepare your folder: gather your statistics for the past 6 months (number of orders, revenue, average rating, acceptance rate). A restaurant that generates more than 200 orders per month is in a strong position.
Contact your account manager (not the standard support). Explain that you would like to discuss your partnership. Mention if you are also present on the competing platform.
Discounts obtained vary from 2 to 5 percentage points. On a turnover of 10,000 EUR per month in delivery, 3 points of commission saved represent an additional 300 EUR of margin.
Timing: Platforms are more open to negotiation at the beginning of the year and in September, when they set their partner retention goals.
