The publisher raised €15 million in 2022 from Bpifrance and Bridgepoint, which allowed it to accelerate product development and commercial coverage. Innovorder is not limited to fast food; the solution also addresses bakeries, snacking, and catering. For high-volume ordering chains, order terminals are a decisive argument. They allow for reduced waiting times, increased average order value (automated upselling), and freeing up staff for preparation. Among its client references are Paris Baguette, Bagelstein, Big Fernand, Amorino, Capfun, and Class’Croute.

Pricing, both solutions fall within the same price range for the software component (between €79 and €120 per month depending on options). The difference lies in the hardware and commitments. Zelty does not require any contractual commitments: you can stop at any time. Innovorder, on the other hand, often offers contracts of 12 to 24 months, especially when the hardware (terminals, screens) is financed over the duration. This lack of commitment at Zelty is a real advantage for franchises in the testing or development phase.

In terms of integrations, Zelty has a particularly rich ecosystem. The solution connects natively with Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, as well as HR tools (7Shifts, Combo, Skello), accounting and inventory management. Innovorder, on its side, offers a wide integration catalog: Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, Stuart for delivery, as well as the main digital restaurant vouchers (Edenred, Swile, Pluxee, UpDejeuner) and mobile payments Apple Pay and Google Pay. The two solutions therefore cover the main channels of the market, with an advantage for Innovorder in the native support of digital restaurant vouchers.

Production management is a field where Innovorder excels. Its KDS (Kitchen Display System) is designed for high-volume kitchens: order display by workstation, time tracking, and delay alerts. Zelty also offers a kitchen display, but with less functional depth. For a fast-food chain that optimizes every second of preparation, Innovorder has the advantage.

For online ordering and click & collect, both solutions offer dedicated modules. Innovorder has the advantage of natively integrating ordering on kiosks, on the web, and via QR code within a unified ecosystem. Zelty relies more on partners for online ordering, which offers more flexibility but less native coherence.

Customer support is often an underestimated criterion. Zelty and Innovorder both offer support in French, but field feedback varies. Zelty is regularly praised for the responsiveness of its support and the quality of its onboarding during deployment. Innovorder is appreciated for on-site training and support for large establishments, but some restaurateurs report longer delays for ongoing support.

Our verdict: if you manage a fast-food franchise with a high volume and order kiosks are essential, Innovorder is the best choice. If you prioritize flexibility, the absence of commitment, and rapid multi-site deployment on iPad, Zelty is the solution to keep.
